In Aquatic Symbiosis, we capture a tranquil encounter between an adventurer and a giant. A small waka drifts through a mirror-like channel; ahead, needle-like spires catch a soft sun. To the right, a sprawling, intricate leviathan rises from the cliffs, its orbiting spheres gently drifting like its young. The scene remains peaceful yet vibrant. The scale tells the story, and the water weaves all parts together. Yes, the fish is enormous. We’ve double-checked.

Colour sets the mood. Rich teal and blue-green ground the water and rock. A mellow yellow circle brightens the sky and warms the tones without fuss. We designed the linework as layered arabesques, part coral reef, part machinery, reminiscent of old engravings. Repeating circles act like moons, creating rhythm and a soft orbital feel. Your eye moves from the bright gleam to the city, then flows back along the figure’s curves. Space around the sun keeps the whole piece well balanced.
