In Aquatic Symbiosis, we capture a quiet encounter between a wanderer and a giant. A small boat drifts gently down a glassy waterway; ahead, sharp, needle-like spires catch the soft kiwi sun. To the right, a vast, intricate leviathan rises from the cliffs, with orbiting spheres floating beside it like its young. The scene remains peaceful yet charged with energy. The scale tells the story, with the water weaving all parts together. Yes, the fish is enormous. We made sure of that.

Colour sets the mood. Deep teal and blue-green ground the water and rocks. A gentle yellow orb brightens the sky and adds warmth to the palette without overpowering. We crafted the linework as layered arabesques—part coral reef, part clockwork—reflecting old engraving styles. Recurring circles mimic moons, creating rhythm and a soft orbital flow. Your eye moves from the luminous reflection to the city, then arcs back along the creature’s shape. Plenty of space around the sun keeps the design feeling balanced.
