Easter Bunny Basket – Crayon-Style Poster

High sun, fresh grass and two cheeky rabbits on watch. This hand-drawn scene captures a bright spring day, with a grey bunny guarding a woven basket of patterned eggs, a yellow companion close by and a lone tulip standing watch. Broad crayon strokes layer blue across the sky, while a lemon-yellow sun and soft cloud add a playful touch. We’ve kept the lines childlike and the shapes bold, letting colour lead the way.

The palette is simple and welcoming. Sky blue and fresh greens sit alongside warm wicker browns. The eggs feature stripes and dots in red, yellow, lilac and blue, adding a gentle contrast. Open space around the characters keeps the composition airy, making it easy to take in from across the room. It’s a lovely fit for a nursery, playroom or hallway in a Kiwi home that could use a smile.

• Style: naïve crayon drawing with visible texture
• Mood: cheerful and light, with a hint of egg-hunt mischief
