We’ve illustrated a relaxed Easter bunny making the most of cooler weather and its egg-collecting duties. Long ears tip gently, rosy cheeks peek through, and there’s an all-important carrot close by. A wicker basket filled with painted eggs rests on denim-clad knees, set against a soft off-white background that leaves plenty of breathing room. Planning a seasonal wall display? Explore our Easter poster collection for more prints with a springtime feel.
The colours are warm and cheerful: pumpkin orange knitwear, deep blue jeans, sunny yellow slippers and a hint of pink inside the ears. Loose lines and light, translucent watercolour washes add texture without making the scene feel busy, so the character stands out from across the room. Its easygoing mood suits nurseries, playful kitchens and laid-back entryways, from Auckland homes to bach interiors. Set just off-centre, the composition uses open space for a fresh, contemporary look.
- Hand-painted watercolour with fine ink details and naturally uneven edges
- A considered blend of warm orange, indigo, blush, green and creamy white
