Floating Organic Structure Poster

Floating Organic Structure takes you to a distant city at dusk. A huge, seed-shaped vessel hangs above stone spires, bound in cables and roots that seem part machine, part creature. Below, figures follow a narrow path, dwarfed by the scene. We designed this piece to explore the contrast between weight and lightness, relic and spacecraft. The sky shifts from deep orange to pale gold, casting a soft glow behind the form.

At the centre of the composition is a dense, oval mass traced with delicate filigree. Tendrils and little red orbs lead your eye in unhurried loops, then down to pointed anchors that nearly meet the ground. Cool blue-greys in the architecture balance the warm sky, giving the structure definition and presence on the wall, whether in an Auckland apartment or a Wellington home. Etching-style detail brings texture, while the open space around the vessel gives it room to breathe.
