Flora of Stabiae, Detail from the Primavera Fresco Poster

Flora turns her face away, her hair woven with petals and her shoulders catching the gentle glow of plaster. This close-up from the Villa Arianna fresco brings the figure out of the wider Primavera scene, giving the mineral pigments and time-softened surface room to speak for themselves. Ancient Roman mural art meets contemporary interiors, no time travel required.

Explore more from Naples’ buried villas in our Pompeii Eternal collection of Roman fresco prints. We’ve kept the lime plaster’s grain and delicate signs of age, while adjusting the tones for a crisp print with gallery appeal.

The palette feels grounded, pairing a sea-green backdrop with warm terracotta hair and pale drapery brushed with ochre. Her turned pose brings gentle movement and a quiet presence that feels at home in a Wellington townhouse or a bach.
