It looks as though someone stacked the floors without quite lining them up. In a way, that’s exactly what happened.
Each storey of this tower projects in a slightly different direction, turning the façade into a stack of white slabs and dark glass. Some terraces are deep, while others are barely there. Against a plain grey sky, the building reads like a sculpture, somewhere between Jenga and an abstract composition.
This is a more recent take on brutalism. Concrete remains the key material and the geometry is still bold, but the overall feel is lighter. We’ve included it in our brutalist architecture prints for its fondness for strong horizontal lines.
Its landscape format suits a living room or dining space, and the high contrast remains clear from across the room. Available in several sizes.
Why are architects still drawn to these raw, solid forms? Read our article to find out why brutalism is back in favour.
